we explore coming from the city and living in Maine, keeping chickens, homeschooling, cooking good food and trying to grow it, building a wood-fired pizza oven, bringing home our goats (finally!), reading wonderful books, stirring the compost, and taking time to smell the petunias.

I love to shell peas. There is something comforting and soothing to me about it. We had 3 days of sunshine here in RI...I thought the sun might be here to stay and then....rain today. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted, lol.
Hi June, indeed is a bliss! The sun was so hot few days ago. These two days it we had light shower :-) Some of my plants are 'recuperating' from the earlier heat. Btw, the above picture is very nicely taken. Lovely!

Eye candy for sure!! These look wonderful! Our peas have not done well at all. I may get some snap pea pods though. Hope you enjoyed them!!
